When something becomes available, it helps to know who we can reach and who can help us reach them.
Golden Oldies Atlantis is being set up to bring that information together, with the help of our local churches. Each church will nominate a coordinator and help register the senior citizens in its community, with their permission.
How we will work together
One coordinator. A familiar point of contact.
Your church coordinator will be my direct contact. When we have a project or a larger handover to arrange, we will work together on the details and coordinate a visit to the church.
Sometimes, it is just one or a few items.
Not everything will be a group handover. When a small number of items becomes available, having a senior's contact number and address on file will help us reach them directly, where they have agreed to this.
A personal introduction
Hello, I'm Allison Samantha Adams.
I am bringing Golden Oldies Atlantis together so that, when an opportunity to help comes along, we have a way to reach our senior citizens.
I will liaise directly with each church's nominated coordinator. Together, we can arrange community handovers and keep in touch about opportunities as they become available.
Support will depend on what becomes available. Being registered will not guarantee an item, a place on a project or assistance. Seniors' contact details are intended for coordinating Golden Oldies support, with their permission.
